Volunteer litter picking
We provide tools and green bags for litter picks run by community groups, schools, and residents. Once you have completed a litter pick, you can ask us to collect your green rubbish bags.
Litter pick tools
You can use our form to request litter picking tools. We will need to know:
- if you are part of a community group or school
- how many tools you need
- how long you need the tools for
- if you are collecting litter for an event
Please give us at least seven days' notice to process your request.
What happens next
A member of our Street Care team will be in touch as soon as possible.
Request a litter bag collection
When you finish your litter pick, we will collect your green litter bags. We will need to know:
- where the bags are
- how many bags are there are
- your name and contact details
Please leave your bags next to a litter bin or somewhere easy to find.
What happens next
Bags left next to a litter bin will be collected within three days. It may take up to five days to collect bags left in other places.
