Renewing residents permits
Parking permits are renewed every year. You can renew your permits up to five weeks before their expiry date and up to two weeks afterwards. If you leave it longer than that you'll need to apply for new permits instead.
The cost of your permit(s) depends on how many permits you need and are entitled to.
Temporary permits will not be issued so please renew your permit as soon as possible.
If we have your email address, we'll send you a reminder to renew your permit about a month before it's due to expire.

You can change one permit at a time and this will cost £10.
If you change your vehicle before your current permit expires, you'll need to apply for a new one and send us new proof of ownership. Proof of ownership can be:

- Your vehicle registration document (V5C)
- A headed letter from your employer
- A signed hire or lease agreement
Apply for a change of vehicle
If you need to use a courtesy car, you can either use your visitors permit or apply for a change of vehicle instead. This will cost £10. When you no longer need the courtesy car you'll need to apply to change it back again. This also costs £10.
You can replace your lost, stolen or destroyed parking permit using our online form. The replacement costs £10.
