Pay your business rates

There are several ways to pay your business rates.

You can pay monthly, pay the full amount in one go or pay half yearly. You will automatically be given monthly instalments but if you would like to change it, please email us.

Pay by direct debit

Paying by direct debit is the easiest way to pay your business rates.

Direct debits are due on the 1st of the month.

Paying online is quick, easy and secure. You can pay by debit or credit card. We accept Visa, Visa Debit and Mastercard.

You will need to have your account number to hand before paying online.

You can pay using our automated payment line on 01622 602544.

To make a payment, choose 4. You will need to have your Business Rates account number ready (this begins with a three) and we will need to know the amount you need to pay.

You can pay by debit card. We accept Visa Debit and Maestro.

Your payment must be with the council by the first of each month.
