Warm Homes

Warm Homes is a scheme run by Kent County Council and the Borough Councils in Kent to help people make their home more energy efficient.

The scheme can offer subsidised heating and insulation measures through Energy Company Obligation Funding, but you may also need to pay something.

Heating and Boilers

At present the Warm Homes scheme does not have a programme to offer subsidised heating. You can find further information on Kent County Council's website.

If you are over 65 and have been diagnosed as having a serious medical condition then you may be eligible for support from the Winter Warmth programme. To find out more, please call our Housing and Health team on 01622 602736.

Insulation

Help with funding for loft and cavity wall insulation, is available for those who own their own home or rent from a private landlord.

To find out what help is available to you, contact the Warm Homes on 0800 170 1174 or complete their online form.

How to apply

Please use the online application form or call the Warm Homes helpline on 0800 170 1174.
