Maidstone Music Festival

We organise and run an annual educative festival which affords opportunities for amateur musicians of all ages and levels of ability to perform, individually or in ensembles, competitively or non-competitively, to audiences in a friendly environment, and to receive encouraging verbal and written adjudication on their performance(s) from highly qualified musicians. We provide the only opportunity, annually via our Festival, to qualify for entry into the Maidstone Young Musician of the Year competition (which is organised by Maidstone Dawn Patrol Rotary Club). We also organise and run an annual Maidstone Music Festival Highlights Concert.

Maidstone Voices

Maidstone Voices is a new, welcoming, non-auditioning choir for the community in and around Maidstone, Kent. It comprises men and women aged 18+ and sings a wide variety of music - classical, popular, folk and jazz. Maidstone Wind Symphony

The orchestra is renowned for its highly-acclaimed interpretations of wind band music with repertoire ranging from traditional and popular classics through to contemporary band masterpieces. We welcome applications from players of approximately grade 8 standard. We are keen to encourage emerging talent of a lesser playing standard where possible and a formal exam result is not integral.
