Bearsted & District Local History Society

We invite speakers to give presentations on varying topics, principally on historic themes where possible. Our membership is currently full but if you wish to apply to join please contact us via email and we will add your name to our waiting list which is reviewed on an annual basis. Visitors are welcome to attend our meetings but our members have priority for admittance. Visitors are therefore only admitted once all the members have taken their seats and on payment of an entrance fee.

Lenham Heritage Society

Monthly talks in the Community Centre; research into the Parish history; manorial history; exploring and recording the history of the many old buildings in Lenham; farming history; grave monuments in churchyard, church and cemetery; place names; Lenham wills and indentures; history in living memory. Publishing research on our website, in the Lenham Focus and further afield.
