The Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012
Loose Parish Council has completed a draft of its Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) and is inviting interested parties to comment on the document and policies as part of a formal public consultation.
The purpose of an NDP is to enable the community to play a much stronger role in shaping the areas in which they live and work and in supporting new development proposals.
The plan forms part of a development plan and sits alongside the Local Plan which is prepared by the local planning authority. Future decisions on planning applications can be made using the Local Plan and the NDP, as well as any other material considerations.
The public consultation runs from Friday 2 November and closes on Friday 14 December at 5pm.
Unfortunately, any comments received after the closing date will not be considered.
