Ghostly goings-on at Maidstone Museum

Maidstone Museum is inviting all really brave children to enjoy some spooktacular fun this Halloween. Leave your parents behind and follow our spectral storyteller on an eerie exploration of the museum’s most creepy rooms.

Two special Ghost Tours for Kids will be held on Wednesday 31 October, starting at 4pm and 5pm. All those who complete the tour will be rewarded with their very own gingerbread ghost, which they’ll then decorate with icing to celebrate!

Ashley Tucker, who will be leading the tours, said: “There have been many reports of strange noises and ghostly apparitions over the years, especially from staff and volunteers working late. Who knows what secrets these old buildings have to tell? We’ll find out for ourselves as we explore some of the older, spookier rooms after dark on this fun tour.”

Tickets for the tour are just £6 per child (£5 for MMF members) and can be booked online at www.maidstonemuseum.org
