The council, through the Voluntary Sector Focus Group, has developed a Maidstone Compact with this sector. It details how the voluntary and community sector will work in partnership with the Maidstone Weald Primary Care Trust and the council. The compact provides a means for consultation, developing best practice, improving mutual understanding, trust and communications, as well as improving outcomes for the people of Maidstone.
