PAST CONSULTATION Homelessness

Calling all homeless people and those who provide services for homeless people!

We are reviewing homlessness services throughout Maidstone and we really need your input. Your views and opinions will be fed directly into our homeless strategy. Our aims are to:

  • establish the current extent and patterns of homelessness;
  • assess the likely future extent and types of homelessness;
  • assess what resources are available to tackle homelessness;
  • identify options to prevent homelessness including the effectiveness of existing services; and
  • inform the Homeless Strategy 2008-2013

If you are a provider of services, we want to assess how effective and inclusive the council's framework for joint partnership working is. As well as assessing the quality of services, improve our partnership working, demonstrate your achievements and highlight opportunities.

If you are a stakeholder or provider then please click here to download a copy of our questionnaire to print-off, fill-in and return to Duncan Bruce, our Housing Policy Officer at Maidstone House, King Street, Maidstone ME15 6JQ. If you have any queries please ring him on 01622 602812 or email him on duncanbruce@maidstone.gov.uk If you would like Ducan to come along and talk to you and your clients, then please do get in touch.

If you are a homeless person, or potentially a homeless person, we really want to know your views about the services you have used.

Please click here to download a copy of our questionnaire for you to print-off, fill-in and return to Duncan Bruce at the address above. If you would like help to fill in the questionnaire or want to talk over any issues then Duncan is only too happy to meet with you.
