PAST CONSULTATION

Children's Play Area Plans

The council has undertaken a strategic review of all play areas and is seeking to ensure that funding is provided to those areas that most need it and that the best use is made of the resources available.

The children's play area plan and its accompanying action plan has been devised and is now available for public consultation.

We therefore want to know what you think of the plan and inparticular answer the following questions:

  • Do you generally support the aims and principles identified?
  • Do you agree that each site should be considered on its inPidual merits and that detailed consultation takes place before any changes can be made?
  • Do you generally agree with the suggested closure, retention and enhancement of sites?
  • Are there any specific 'play' facilities you would like to see provided, and if so, where?
  • Are you aware of any community groups or inPiduals who might wish to work in partnership with the council to seek external funding, make a contribution or become responsible for the future maintenance of a play area?
