Have Your Say on Cobtree Manor Park Consultation

The council, as corporate trustee, is looking to enhance Cobtree Manor Park and we went out to the public to ask what they thought about our proposals. We employed a team of specialist consultants to help us draw up some new and exciting plans for the park to make it more attractive and increase visitor numbers.

The plans retained the open nature of the park whilst improving security, providing a wider range of attractions for the visitor and ensuring that there is access for people with disabilities. We also want to make sure that buildings are used in a flexible way and that the park is made more interesting, informative, educational and fun.

People were invited to come and see the plans at the Town Hall on Monday 12 February from 2 to 4pm or at the Clubhouse, Cobtree Golf Course on Tuesday 20 February from 2 to 4pm. If they couldn't make these, they could also have picked up a questionnaire at council outlets, download a copy.

Consultation ended on 27 February; this page has been kept on here so that you can see the consultation document.
