Bus stops and shelters - positioning
The location of bus stops on the carriageway,
and the maintenance of bus stop poles and flags are the
responsibility of Kent Highways Services.
Their Integrated Transport Unit have an
arrangement with the bus operators and a contractor to update the
timetable information that is displayed at stops.
Bus shelters may be owned by an advertising
company, Maidstone council or a parish council.
