Business directory launch
A new directory will help businesses in
Maidstone find more work and get the advice they need.
Maidstone council is launching its business
directory, which aims to help support businesses in the
recession.
Council Leader, Cllr Chris Garland, said: “The
directory provides information and contact details of more than
2,500 businesses in Maidstone. It’s a great way to source many of
the support organisations that help existing and new businesses in
and around Maidstone.”
Maidstone Borough Council is working hard
to encourage companies to invest in the area. With such great
transport advantages, quality premises, an excellent choice of
housing, a high level of skilled labour and excellent sites to
develop new businesses and expand existing ones.
Cllr Garland added: “Maidstone council’s
vision for the borough is to develop a vibrant economy and create
prosperity and opportunities for all. We are creating an ambitious
programme of regeneration focusing on the physical redevelopment of
key town centre sites including a multi-million pound
transformation of the town centre’s public realm.”
The Maidstone Business Directory comes with
comes with a CD-ROM which holds the business information in an
electronic format.
The CD can be upgraded to a powerful
business support and marketing tool enabling users to compile and
print reports, perform mailshots, print address labels and much
more.
