Public consultation for High Street plans

Exciting plans to transform Maidstone’s High Street will be on display in the Gateway, King Street, Maidstone from Monday, February 8 to Saturday, February 13.

Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Cllr Malcolm Greer, said: “This is a good opportunity for the people of Maidstone to come along and see what is planned and then give their opinions. We will be listening to what people have to say and I am looking forward to the exciting future that the High Street has to hold.”

Maidstone Borough Council is urging people to come down to the Gateway and have their say. The exhibition will include the project’s latest images and plans and people can leave their feedback on the plans, which will go towards helping to shape the final design.

The council’s planning committee is due to consider some aspects of the design in April.
