Maidstone's Dream
Maidstone’s Dream – Bring a Medal
Home, is a sponsorship
website where businesses can help support an athlete or
team and enable them to train and compete at the highest levels and
possibly represent Team GB at the 2012 Olympics.
The website has athletes
or teams profiles on it for businesses to look at and sponsor if
they wish. These will be updated by the athletes and teams. If a
business sponsors an athlete they will be profiled on the
website.
Any athlete or team,
which meets the eligibility criteria, can join the website in the
future. To be eligible for the website you must be over 11 years of
age; receive written parental permission if you are under the age
of 18; currently be a member of a national team or squad; currently
be listed in the top 10 of any national age ranking; have finished
within the top 10 in any national age group competition in the last
12 months or live, work, go to school or train in the borough of
Maidstone.

Sport Relief Mile
Maidstone Borough Council will be
organising the Sport Relief Mile, taking place on Sunday 25th March
2012.
There will be 3 races (1 Mile, 3 Miles and 6 Miles)
Entry costs £6 adult, £3 child, £15 family - Paying
for your Mile helps to cover the cost of staging the event

Youth Sport Achievement Awards
The 21st Year of the Youth Sport Achievement Awards
took place on January 27, 2012 at Maidstone Leisure
Centre.
The event was a great success with winners from a variety of
sports including; Adaptive Rowing, Athletics, Boxing and many

Hotfoot Plus Trust
The Hotfoot Plus Trust is a registered charity who raise funds
for one to one play leaders to work with disabled children, to
enable them to access the Maidstone Borough Council Hotfoot Play
Schemes and Community Led Play Schemes.
