Flexible New Deal
If you have been in receipt of benefits for 12 months or more
(in some circumstances 6 months) you could be entitled to take
advantage of
Flexible New Deal which aims to help you find a job, or get
training or work experience to help you find a job.
The Jobcentre Plus offers a number of New Deal programmes to
help unemployed people, particularly those who have been unemployed
for a long time, people with disabilities and anyone in need of
extra help to find work.
Future Jobs Fund
If you are aged between 18 and 24 and have been looking for work
and claiming Job Seekers Allowance for six months or more you will
get an offer of a job, work experience, or training lasting at

Modern Apprenticeships
Offers young people aged 16 to 19, either in or out of
employment, the chance to gain invaluable industry recognised
accreditations - including SVQs and NVQs - through Modern
Apprenticeships training.
Skillseekers
Kent
Skillseekers is a training programme for young people who want
to develop skills and equip themselves for the world of work. Most
young people involved in Skillseekers are in employment, but there
are also training places for those having difficulty in finding a
job.
Work Scheme and Initiatves for Disabled People
If you have a disability or have other challenges to finding
employment, there are a number of initiatives that provide extra
support. Work schemes and initiatives for disabled people can
provide a personalised programme of support to assist you back into
employment.
