Grants For Properties
The Council has adopted a new policy for the way in which it can
award financial assistance to improve the condition of houses in
the private sector.
The details of Housing Assistance have been developed by
Maidstone Borough Council to meet local needs.
Housing Assistance is a practical way for the Council to help as
many local people as a possible to improve, repair and maintain
their homes in good condition so that everyone has a warm,
comfortable and secure home to live in.
The policy sets out the types of assistance that is now
available to owner occupiers, landlords and tenants. All grant
assistance offered by the Council is subject to the availability of
resources.
