Purpose of the External Board/Outside Body:

CAB help people with a number of problems, which ranges from but is not limited to, homelessness, housing, consumer problems and benefits.

Update:

CAB is important to Maidstone Borough Council as the organisation works in partnership with the Council to help the people of Maidstone.  To achieve this, a large amount of money is given to the organisation each year.

In my position as Council Representation, I sit on the board alongside 7 others, as well as the Health and Safety Committee
