The Cemetery is now open and back to normal.

Most funerals will be arranged through a funeral director, who will take care of the bookings and arrangements for you.

But if you do want to arrange a burial yourself you will need to make an appointment with us. Call us on 01622 602656 or email us and we can go through everything with you.

See our Memorials and Prices page to find out the various costs with burials and cremations and details on how to pay.

Visitors using the Sutton Road entrance may drive into the grounds of the cemetery when attending services or visiting graves but you must stick to the roads at all times.

Funerals take place Monday – Friday between 10am and 2.30pm.

Should you wish to make an appointment for grave selection, this needs to be done in advance by contacting the Cemetery office. Email

Grave selection depends on availability and personal choice. There are three options:

  • Lawn graves, for people wanting just a headstone memorial
  • General graves, for people wanting larger memorials
  • Cremated remains plots, for people wanting to put ashes in a grave and have a memorial on the plot. This option is not available at Vinters Park Crematorium.
