Professional dog walking scheme
As part of our commitment to encouraging responsible dog ownership we have this scheme to help support local dog walkers who support our values. The Code of Conduct incorporates the values and behaviours we feel our local dog walkers should follow, in order to promote responsible dog ownership and compliance with the relevant legislation for dog walkers.
To be approved for the scheme we're asking that dog walking services:
- agree to the values in our Code of Conduct
- provide details of insurance cover for their services
- agree to meet with a member of the Animal Welfare team to discuss those services
If you'd like to apply to be approved alongside other professional dog walking services please complete the below forms and email us.
Once we've received your application an officer will contact you to discuss the services you provide and arrange an appointment to meet. At the meeting you'll confirm the arrangements you have in place and show the officer details of your relevant insurance documents. We'll then ask you to sign your own copy of our Code of Conduct.
