We’re encouraging and supporting groups and individuals who want to ‘do their bit’ to help clear up the litter blighting our streets, towpaths, play areas and parks.
Cllr Derek Mortimer said: “We’re delighted to be supporting the Great British Spring Clean and we encourage as many groups, individuals and organisations as possible to take part. We’re also hoping that schools will get involved.”
Litter remains a huge problem across Kent, causing harm to the environment and wildlife. We spend over £1.6 million on street cleaning services every year.
