Recycling bags and containers

Maidstone Borough Council provides a grey 190L wheeled bin for refuse collections, a green 240L wheeled bin for recycling collections.

Those properties not able to store bins on the property remain on black sack collections for refuse and have black boxes for recycling. 

Separate food waste collections  commenced from 31st January 2011. A 5L silver kitchen caddy is provided along with an external 23L storage caddy.

Garden waste bins (Green 240L wheeled bins with yellow stripe) are available to hire and garden waste compostable sacks can be purchased
