Appeal
The applicants lodged an appeal after the Council's failure to
determine the application within the statutory time. The appeal was
heard by means of a public local inquiry conducted by a Planning
Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State.
The Inquiry has finished and we are awaiting the outcome. Due to
the long length and complexity of the inquiry we do not know how
long the Inspector will take to produce his report or when the
Secretary of State will make a decision.
The appeal was dismissed by the
Secretary of State on August 5, 2010 in accordance with the
recommendations of the Planning Inspector.
