Reporting poor care of animals
We are responsible for any welfare issues occurring in
premises which we license. If you suspect animal welfare
needs are not being met in a Council-licensed establishment please
contact the Environmental Enforcement team on 01622 602117.
For all other enquiries reporting the welfare of
animals please call the RSPCA's 24-hour national
cruelty and advice line on 0300 1234 999.
What we currently licence

Enforcement jointly deal with various animal licences.
You can apply for these licences
online, except for Dangerous Wild Animals and Dog Breeding. The
application forms for these are available to download and print off
for completion. Alternatively, we will post you forms for any
animal licences on request: please contact us using the details to
the right of this page.
