Collection Details
Please put your rubbish and recycling out on
the correct day by 7am.(6am Christmas & New
Year)
Please leave it at the edge of your property
where it is clearly visible from the road. Separate
arrangements have been made for flats and communal bins.

Bank Holiday Collections
From now on we will be collecting on all Bank
Holidays except Christmas and New
Year. For further details click here.
Clinical Waste Collections
We provide a separate free weekly collection
service for clinical waste which must be requested by your GP or
nurse. Specially marked yellow plastic sacks are provided for
storage. Sharps (needles etc) will only be collected in an approved
container.
Collections are not made from nursing homes,
veterinary, dentist or doctors surgeries. This is classed as
commercial waste. Incontinence pads and babies nappies are not
treated a clinical waste and should be securely wrapped in suitable
plastic bags and put with your general rubbish that cannot be
recycled, for collection.
We promise to:
- Deliver 78 black rubbish sacks annually to your home, if you do
not have a wheelie bin.
Collect your household rubbish on the same day every week
(except over Christmas and New Year)
- Collect your paper/mixed recycling and garden waste once a
fortnight.
- Publish details of your recycling collection service.
- Every December publish details of your collection service over
Christmas and New Year
- Return your wheelie bin and recycling boxes to your property in
a place where it does not obstruct access by people or
vehicles.
- Collect your missed rubbish or recycling collection by the end
of the next working day.
- Provide you with a new or replacement wheelie bin/recycling
boxes within 7 working days of notification.
- Be tidy and clear up any spillages.
How you can help us:
- Leave your rubbish and recycling at the boundary of your
property, next to the pavement.
- Make sure that all your rubbish is inside
your wheelie bin. The lid must be closed. Additional rubbish
on top or by the side of your wheelie bin will not be
collected.
- In the unlikely event of a missed collection,
please call 01622 602162.
- Please do not overload your wheelie bin or
sacks. Your rubbish will not be collected if it is too heavy.
