Attend public meetings

You can attend all meetings of the council. However, if there are confidential/exempt items on the agenda the public and press will be asked to leave the meeting at that time. The meeting agenda will make it clear when this could happen and will provide the reasons why the public are to be excluded.

Most public meetings take place at the Town Hall (map) which has facilities for wheelchair users, including lifts and toilets. We also have an induction loop to help those who wear a hearing aid.
