Choosing health
Choosing Health is an initiative from the Department of Health with
the aim of making healthier choices easier. Maidstone Borough
Council has successfully bid for Choosing Health
funding from West Kent Primary Care Trust.
Maidstone Borough Council in partnership with West Kent PCT has
developing a number of health initiatives aiming to reduce the
health inequalities currently present in Maidstone borough. The
Association of public Health Observatories produce health profiles
for each borough in the country. These profiles provide a snapshot
of health in the borough.
