At Maidstone Borough Council we work to keep people healthy. We help to ensure people are living in healthy environments and offer advice and information on health, wellbeing and activities that you can be involved in.

The council works closely with the NHS to deliver activities to help you get, or stay, healthy.

You can access details of all the following services from the West Kent PCT website:

  • Care at home
  • Health advice
  • Healthy living
  • Occupational Therapy

If you need a service

You can use the NHS Direct website to search for doctors, dentists, hospitals and pharmacies in your local area. The website includes maps and directions of how to find each service by road or by public transport. Maidstone has one accident and emergency department, based at Maidstone Hospital on Hermitage Lane, Maidstone, Kent, ME16 9QQ.
