If you are having trouble getting to and from college visit Kent County Council's public transport pages for information on public transport bus and train routes.

 

Certain local bus services primarily intended to take pupils to or from school or college have been omitted from maps for the sake of clarity. See 11-19 Travel below for specific information on transport to and from your college.

 

Travel assistance

Age 16 to 19?  Do you want to attend further education college but need assistance beyond route planning? You may be able to apply for travel assistance from Kent County Council to help cover the costs. See below for some frequently asked questions on home to college transport.

11-19 Travel

Help is also available from the 11-19 travel website.  The service, provided by Travel for Kent, has been developed as a Government-funded Pathfinder Project and is operated through the Kent Transport Partnership (KTP).  Services offered on the 11-19 travel website include:

  • search for a college in Kent using the map and access their website
  • links to other travel providers
  • up-to-date travel information
  • give your opinions on travelling to colleges in Kent, and even suggest improvements to the services
  • home to college journey planner
  • frequently asked questions on travel support
