Arts Council England
Arts Council England is the national development agency for the
arts in England.
Grants for the arts are for activities carried out over a set
period and which engage people in England in arts activities, and
help artists and arts organisations in England carry out their
work.
Grants for the arts is funded by the National Lottery.

Maidstone Borough Council Cultural Grants
Maidstone's Cultural Grant funding for new arts activities,
events or projects in Maidstone.
Cultural Grants are awarded twice a year, with application
deadlines at the end of March and September.

The Ragdoll Foundation
This foundation supports imaginative and innovative projects
which promote the development of young children through the arts.
Preference is given to projects that apply to children during their
early years, although appropriate projects for older children which
show promise of developing potential, progress and well-being may
also be considered.
The D'Oyly Carte Charitable Trust
Funds registered charities operating within the United Kingdom.
Most grants are allocated on a one off basis but funding of up to
three years may be possible in certain circumstances i.e. new
charities.
The main areas of support are: Arts (e.g. arts education for
young people); Medical Welfare (e.g. music and art therapy for
older and disabled people, support and respite for carers);
Environment (e.g. conservation).
Most grants are for between £1,000-£5,000 though occasionally
more is granted. Applications are considered in March, July and
November. Bidders should write to the Secretary with an outline
proposal, or telephone for guidance.
