Maidstone Borough Council Service Information

We have cleared snow and gritted park and ride
and other council car parks, and footpaths in the town centre,
Vinters Park Crematorium and elsewhere in our borough. We
will continue to grit as necessary but please take care because of
the conditions.
Refuse and Recycling
We are collecting most refuse and recycling as
normal but if road conditions prevent us from getting to
you please leave your bins out and we will collect them
as soon as we can.
Garden waste collections have been suspended so that the crew
can help with refuse and recycling collections. Garden waste
collections will resume on Monday, February 13 . We are
sorry for any inconvenience and will collect garden waste
on the next scheduled collection date.
Car Parks
King Street multi-storey has the best conditions.
Maidstone Museum
Closed for essential maintenance until Saturday, February
11.
All other services are operating
normally.

Roads - gritting
Maidstone council clears council car
parks and its service areas and will help Kent Highways to clear
footways. Kent Highways Services clears and grits roads
and pavements during snow or icy weather. For more
