Council Tax - band reductions
There are currently eight council tax bands.

Every domestic property will fall within one of the
above eight bands and your Council Tax bill will show you what
band your property is in. The current list was created in 1993 and
used the retail value of the property as it would have been on
April 1, 1991.

Who decides what band should be used?
The banding of all properties is decided by the Valuation Office
Agency, an independant government agency who can be contacted
