Birth - historical searches
There are many ways to begin researching your family
history:
- Talk to older family members and write down what they can
remember; or
- Look through family documents and memorabilia; or
- Study any certificates that you already have; or
- Check relevant papers and photographs;
Books and monthly publications relating to Family History can
provide useful advice. You can buy these from bookstores and
newsagents or borrow them from your local library.
