Celebrate Maidstone’s fantastic architecture and culture
with Heritage Open Days.
From 6-9 September buildings that are normally closed
to the public or charge for admission will be opening their doors
and offering free entry to everyone.
Over ten of Maidstone’s historical treasures will be open to
members of the public, who could get the chance to see inside the
wonderful Archbishops’ Palace or have the rare opportunity to see
items in Maidstone Museum’s reserve collections.
Other venues will include Maidstone Town Hall, The Stone Court
Hotel, Maidstone Carriage Museum and many churches such as Teston,
All Saint’s and the United Reformed Church.

wants to learn more about the county town’s history should contact
